LVMC values the opportunity work with multiple diverse supplier populations ranging from minority groups to women, LGBT and veteran owned suppliers. Lompoc Valley Medical Center welcomes any and all vendors from diverse backgrounds to do business with our organization. When it comes down to the bottom line, LVMC makes the most cost effective decision when it comes to purchasing supplies. This has become even more important with the inflation of costs.
How does your hospital encourage its employees involved in procurement to seek out minority, women, LGBT, and disabled veteran business enterprises to become potential suppliers?
Lompoc Valley Medical Center encourages all directors to recruit new suppliers. Currently, LVMC sends all organizational needs that are greater than $25K out for bid. The organization requires a minimum of 3 bids for these type of purchases.
