In collaboration with five other hospitals in the region, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center conducted interviews with community stakeholders to obtain input on significant health needs, barriers to care and resources available to address the significant health needs. Forty-two (42) phone interviews were conducted from November 2024 to March 2025.community stakeholders have broad interests in the community, as well as specific experience and expertise with health and wellbeing in Los Angeles County. Stakeholders included, but were not limited to, local governmental health leaders and leaders of nonprofits serving medically underserved and low-income populations. Organizations representing vulnerable population included those with a focus on, but not limited to, the following: Low income, Older adult, LGBTQ+, Asian, Black and Latino populations and People experiencing homelessness.
