Community input on the 2022-2025 CHNA was provided by a broad range of community members via key informant interviews, focus groups, surveys. Individuals with knowledge, information, and/or expertise relevant to the health needs of the community were consulted, including representatives from state, local or other regional governmental public health departments, as well as leaders; representatives, or members of medically underserved, low-income, and minority populations; and representatives from local schools, public service organizations and businesses. Focus groups were conducted in English and Spanish as needed. Vulnerable populations represented in CHNA process include: Older adults, Black/African American, Latino and Spanish-speaking community members, Mandarin-speaking community members, LGBTQ young adults, Medi-Cal recipients, and others.
