UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland engaged a broad range of community-based organizations, public agencies, and service providers during the most recent Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) process. Participants included organizations serving children, adolescents, and families across Alameda County and surrounding East Bay communities, with particular expertise in health care access, behavioral health, food security, housing stability, education, and family support services.

The Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) was made widely available to the public through multiple channels. In addition, information about the CHNA findings and priority areas was shared with community partners and stakeholders through existing hospital community communication channels, including meetings, presentations, and collaborative forums. Copies of the CHNA will also be made available upon request to ensure broad public access.
