Fairchild Medical Center does not currently have a Supplier Diversity Policy but understands the value of a program that is committed to advancing diversity in supply chain strategies and will commit to providing equal opportunity to all certified diverse business enterprises by allowing them to compete and participate as suppliers of goods and services.

While Fairchild Medical Center recognizes the value of developing mutually beneficial relationships with diverse business enterprises and is willing to explore the opportunities to identify these businesses and encourage them to compete in the sourcing and procurement process, a process is not currently in place.
How does your hospital encourage its employees involved in procurement to seek out minority, women, LGBT, and disabled veteran business enterprises to become potential suppliers?
Fairchild Medical Center recognizes that supplier diversity is necessary and will encourage sourcing departments to include diverse suppliers and service providers in the procurement process by communicating the value of supplier diversity through a program that has yet to be developed.
How does your hospital conduct outreach and communication to minority, women, LGBT, and disabled veteran business enterprises?
Once a Supplier Diversity program is developed, Fairchild Medical Center will encourage certified diverse suppliers to contact Materials Management to register and participate in the sourcing and procurement process.
