As part of our overall HHMH Mission, Vision and Values, the Materials Management Department oversees the relationships between HHMH and its suppliers and insuring that all aspects of our relationships are held to the highest ethical and professional standards. Our suppliers contribute significantly to the ongoing success of HHMH and Materials management in turn actively supports our suppliers and helps them achieve their objectives. The Supplier Diversity program, which promotes commerce with small, disadvantaged and diversity owned businesses, is one example of this support.

We are working to develop a diverse supplier pipeline, with a member of our Project Management Office actively recruiting and engaging qualified suppliers to support this initiative.

Ongoing expansion of our supplier base by widening the supplier pool and promoting healthy competition within the supply chain. This approach aims to enhance value, improve service levels, reduce supply risk and increase procurement from a broader range of qualified vendors including the aforementioned business enterprises.

We have two buyers that actively serve on our diversity program committee and they are well-informed of the requirements and considerations involved in evaluating new vendors. Their involvement helps ensure that diversity remains a key factor in our procurement decisions.
