This involves a through assessment of our current practices and the establishment of sustainable strategies to foster a more inclusive supplier base.

When seeking out vendors, the facility reviews suppliers and vendors to see if they are appropriate to serve the facility, including their ability to serve our needs, the company's policy on diversity/hiring policy on diversity/hiring and price point. The facility attempts to prioritize vendors who are in line with Heritage Oaks Hospital's policy on non-discrimination and equal opportunity hiring.

Outreach and communication with diverse enterprises and attempting to prioritize vendors with policies aligned with Heritage Oaks Hospitals policies. Mainly the facility is active in supports multiple organizations in the community and is an integral part of the community on its own.
