Supplier Diversity Policy Statement

Mission Community Hospital (MCH) holds diversity and inclusion as core values and understands that such are fundamental to our history and culture. It is the policy of MCH that Diverse Suppliers (Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprises; LGBT Business Enterprises, Veteran-Owned Businesses and Disabled - Owned Business Enterprises) shall have an equal opportunity to be included in our sourcing and procurement process.

Mission Community Hospital continues to educate all management and staff on the fundamentals of diversity and inclusion, providing them tools and resources to integrate diversity and inclusion into the daily operations of health care.

Mission Community Hospital will continues to work with our GPO and with their help educate staff on diversity and how it affects MCH. Providing everyone with tools and resources to integrate diversity and inclusion into the operations of health care each and every day..

Mission Community Hospital (MCH) encourages the development of mutually beneficial business relationships with diverse suppliers. The award of opportunities to diverse suppliers will be based on their relative competitiveness, the value of their offerings, and their demonstrated performance. No minimal thresholds or targets have been established under these guidelines.

Mission Community Hospital continues to educate all staff on the fundamentals of diversity and inclusion. We encourage the staff to participate in events and conferences so they have the tools and resources to integrate diversity and inclusion into the daily operations of health care.

Mission Community Hospital strives to be the employer of choice in our community. We are committed to the development of our suppliers and to creating workplaces that respect diversity.

We will continue to work with our GPO who inturns works with the various organizations and other groups. We are committed to work with as many diversified group as we move forwards into the future.

As of now we have not had any issues that needed resolving. We also seek the help of our GPO if we were to have any issues.

Our Executive leadership has develope a Diversity Policy that will continue to evolve and be updated as we get more experience with Diverity.

We are working with our GPO with the understanding that Diversity is a priority to us. We understand the need to grow our Diverity vendors every year whenever possible.
