Trinity Health Supply Chain is committed to Impact Purchasing, which promotes the intentional use of our buying power to positively impact the communities we serve. The intent is to improve community health by seeking vendor partners that build community prosperity and create economic mobility in Trinity service areas. Impact Purchasing is also critical to supply chain resiliency. The focused effort to seek suppliers invested in our communities is a protective action that strengthens the organization's ability to respond to risks in the supply chain. Vendors currently within scope of Impact Purchasing are community based, represent disadvantaged communities (minorities, women, veterans, etc.) and have demonstrated commitment to the environmental health of communities.

All interested suppliers including diverse and non-diverse are welcome to register with Trinity Health and its health ministries via our supplier portal. During this process suppliers can identify any active diverse certifications and provide information for business capabilities. Trinity Health uses implemented supplier diversity procedures and sourcing guidelines to identify and include diverse suppliers during review of business need. Supplier communication is facilitated through direct outreach from the diverse supplier themselves, or through the identification of a business need. All interested suppliers including diverse and non-diverse are welcome to register with Trinity Health and its health ministries via our supplier portal. During this process suppliers can identify any active diverse certifications and provide information for business capabilities. Trinity Health is currently a corporate member of the Healthcare Anchor Network (HAN).

Trinity Health Impact Purchasing program encourages all suppliers to register on the supplier portal for no fee. Trinity Health encourages interested suppliers who may not have capacity to support our entire system to register with GPO's.
