Supplier Diversity Policy Statement
CHOC is continuing to develop its outreach and inclusion programs for greater diversity in our supply chain. As we continue to asses the available contracting and communication resources and the ability to utilize, CHOC will be able to determine and implement policy. We will develop a process to analyze current procurement practices, including, but not limited to, overall spend, percentage of contracts with diverse suppliers, spend with diverse suppliers, growth of spend and contracting with diverse suppliers, bid process, quantity of bids and number of diverse suppliers bidding, outreach and engagement with diverse business/enterprises, mentoring and coaching with businesses; review previous bids from diverse suppliers; research best practices in supplier diversity; and partner with other Children’s Hospitals, local healthcare organizations or agencies to collaborate and identify best practice
