Applications are now open for access to the Department of Health Care Access and Information’s (HCAIs) Health Care Payments Data (HPD) Program datasets. The HPD is California’s All Payer Claims Database (APCD) and is comprised of healthcare administrative data via claims and encounters as submitted from California payers. The HPD datasets include medical and pharmacy claims, member eligibility, and provider data.
To apply for HPD datasets, please begin by registering an account on the HCAI Data Request Portal. Then complete and submit a detailed application, including a description of your research, data needs, and privacy measures.
