Summary#
This webpage provides access to annual Hospital Equity Reports submitted by California hospitals and hospital systems, as required by California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 22, Sections 95303 and 95304. Each report includes hospital- or hospital system-level measures of access, quality, and outcomes stratified by demographic and socioeconomic factors, along with a plan to address top disparities identified in the data.
How to find a report: Use the search bar to look up a specific hospital or hospital system. Filter by reporting year or report type to narrow results. For more specific searches – including by county, license type, legislative district, or rural status – use Advanced Search.
Disclaimer: Linked hospital and hospital system websites are provided for informational purposes only. HCAI does not control or endorse external website content. Please verify details directly with each external website before relying on any information presented.
The top disparities listed in reports are self-identified by hospitals and hospital systems and should be reviewed alongside the full dataset and complete equity reports for context.
Data disclaimer: Data is reported to the extent available and consistent with the California Health and Human Services’ (CalHHS) Data Deidentification Guidelines; missing or unknown stratification groups are blank. Hospitals that did not submit a report are listed separately on the CalHHS Open Data Portal (ODP), “List of hospitals/hospital systems that failed to submit an equity report to the Department.”
