6. Procurement Process and Certification
Please describe your hospital's procurement process
At CVSH, our procurement process is designed to ensure safe, cost-effective, and compliant purchasing to support quality patient care. We start by identifying the needs of each department and confirming that requested items meet safety, quality, and licensure standards. Competitive bids or quotes are obtained when appropriate, and all vendors are evaluated based on product quality, reliability, and compliance with applicable healthcare requirements. Once approved, purchases are documented, tracked, and verified upon delivery to ensure accuracy and condition. Payments are processed only after confirming receipt and compliance with hospital standards. We maintain clear records to support transparency and audit readiness. We also encourage the inclusion of diverse suppliers and regularly review our process to ensure fairness, efficiency, and alignment with evolving healthcare standards.
