Coalinga Regional Medical Center is committed to providing diverse business enterprises—including minority-owned, women-owned, LGBT-owned, and disabled-veteran-owned businesses—with fair and meaningful opportunities to compete for CRMC's procurement of goods and services. CRMC will maintain a written Supplier Diversity Plan, track and report its procurement with diverse suppliers, and encourage its major vendors to do the same, consistent with Health and Safety Code sections 1339.85–1339.87 and with CRMC's obligation to obtain quality goods and services at a fair price.

Hospital will review an annual aspirational participation goal, reviewed each year by the Governing Body.

Hospital will identify diverse suppliers in the region through certification databases, local chambers, and vendor fairs; share bid opportunities with them when practical.

Coalinga Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has reviewed the Hospital Supplier Diversity Commission's 2022 Recommendations Report and the Voluntary Guidelines developed by HCAI in consultation with the Commission. As a small rural hospital and skilled nursing facility, CRMC has used the Commission's supplier diversity roadmap to assess its current position and to prioritize the recommendations that are most relevant to a facility of our size. CRMC currently assesses itself as Level 1 (Early-Stage).

Coalinga Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is a rural hospital with an attached skilled nursing facility. Purchasing is centralized in the Materials Management department, which handles supply ordering, and receiving for the hospital, the skilled nursing facility, and affiliated outpatient services. Contracted services are managed through the Administration office with review by the appropriate department director and Compliance. The majority of CRMC's medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, dietary, and general supply purchases are made through contracts held by our group purchasing organization (GPO).
