Supplier Diversity Policy Statement

Maintain procurement guidelines for the use of diverse suppliers/vendors to be used by all employees responsible for purchasing. It is our policy to prefer to use a qualified diverse supplier whenever one is both available and able to meet our business terms and conditions at a competitive price. We re not obligated to use a diverse supplier over others when they are not able to meet the business requirements including pricing.

Our short term goal is to adhere to our policy statement and to work with as many diverse suppliers / vendors that can meet our business requirements including pricing working with our prime distributor and GPO.

Our long term goal is to adhere to our policy statement and to work with as many diverse suppliers / vendors that can meet our business requirements including pricing working with our prime distributor and GPO as well as networking with our sister hospitals in our system for any additional diverse suppliers / vendors.

We work with our GPO and Medical Surgical Distributor.

We currently work with our GPO and Medical Surgical Distributor but are also working on sharing information with our sister hospitals in our system for other potential diverse vendors/suppliers.

We do not limit or impede any vendors including diverse vendors from becoming a supplier as long as they can meet our business requirements including pricing.

We have used past recommendations for partnering with diverse businesses and leveraging our existing resources within our policy of meeting our business needs including pricing.

We will be discussing with our corporate office and sister hospitals the possibility of publishing our supplier diversity plans and conducting outreach and assistance.
