Supplier Diversity Policy Statement

MPTF values the relationships we have with our diverse community. Consistent with California law, MPTF encourages minority-owned, women owned, veteran-owned, LGBT-owned businesses, as well as SBA-defined small businesses (“Diverse Suppliers”) to participate in MPTF’s procurement program.

Request Diverse Supplier information and track in MPTF’s procurement intake process (estimated completion by December 31, 2025).

Continue to improve levels of Diverse Supplier participation over time.

We continued to use Vizient's supplier connection online tool for our hospital supply needs which identifies certified Diverse Suppliers. We also continue to develop our new process to encourage suppliers to identify themselves as minority owned while setting up as new vendor in Lawson. This includes an online questionnaire matching the categories required for this report.

We have rolled out this initiative with our managers and are using regular meeting platforms to encourage everyone engaging in contracting to seek out Diverse Suppliers.
