NorthBay Healthcare will maintain the same commitment to inclusion, diversity and equal opportunity in supplier selection that we apply to hiring and day-to-day operations. It's a part of our culture it is who we are, not just something we do. We are committed to maintaining awareness internally and to ensure that certified California diverse suppliers can compete for NorthBay contracts. We are also committed to paying fair prices and to adherence to GPO/system contracts.
2. Goals and Timetables

Our short term and long term goals remain the same: to increase use of diverse vendors where possible, and where there is not a conflict with an existing agreement and to fulfill business needs. When evaluating new vendors, we research options through Vizient and consider vendors who have reached out to us. This is an ongoing effort.

As above, our short and long term goals remain the same, which is to increase use of diverse vendors where possible. We also encourage vendors reaching out to us to consider entering into a contract with Vizient, as there are a number of diverse vendors with GPO agreements.

Our focus remains on bringing value through alignment with contracted vendors and suppliers, as well as diverse suppliers. We continually evaluate a variety of options and vendors to arrive at what we hope and believe to be best decisions for our organization.

Our procurement team is aware of our commitment to diversity and prefers use of diverse vendors when possible. Most of our purchases are through the portfolio of contracts made available to us through our GPO. Diverse suppliers also work with our GPO.

Please describe your hospital's procurement process
Our procurement process is focused on standardizing to contracted products and contracts and bringing quality products and services to NorthBay Health at fair prices. We also are focused on creating a fair system for new and diverse vendors; we do this by seeking out new vendors, contracts and opportunities.
