We seek suppliers and service providers with the highest quality and financial opportunities. We recognize the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion. We encourage prospective suppliers or service providers to reach out if interested in being considered for existing or future business opportunities.

2. Goals and Timetables

We continue to encourage prospective suppliers or service providers to reach out if interested in being considered for existing or future business opportunities. We have invested in technology that gives us vendor diversity designations and spend visibility. We continue to work with our GPO, our primary supply distributor, having discussions during our contracting process as well as working with a local collaborative to help identify diversity suppliers in our community.

We plan to continue with our short-term goals and will be explore opportunities on the intake process for prospective suppliers.

We have a centralized procurement and contracting team. Should any issues arise with selection or implementation of a supplier, our contracting team is capable of handling exceptions and informing leadership where necessary.

Our past implementations based on the recommendations are; creating a policy statement, providing our corporate supply chain contact information to prospective suppliers and tracking of our existing diversity spend.

Our future planned recommendation improvements are; exploring the opportunity to implement an intake solution for prospective suppliers and continuing our existing program.

6. Procurement Process and Certification

Please describe your hospital's procurement process

The overall goal of our hospital procurement is to procure and provide the right products at the right place and right time to support clinical care. As product is utilized within our hospital locations our site logistics generates replenishment requests based on PAR levels. Those replenishment requests are processed through our centralized procurement team and product is then shipped by the vendors to the associated hospital location. Logistics then restocks the inventory locations at the hospital.
