Natividad is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion when selecting vendors, contractors, and other service providers (“Suppliers”). It is Natividad’s policy to promote supplier diversity by engaging with business enterprises that are at least 51% owned by minorities, women, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, Queer (LGBTQ), and veteran and/or disabled veteran business enterprises (“Diverse Suppliers”), whenever practical and possible to do so so as to be compliant with Monterey County and Natividad's established policies and procedures.*This is from our DRAFT Policy

Natividad has reached out to various organizations which support the various diverse supplier categories to inquire about networking opportunities and/or membership. Such outreach includes but is not limited to the NMSDC, the WBEND, and the NGLCC.

Natividad is owned and operated by the County of Monterey which offers education and online tools to promote diversity, awareness, and equity. This education is readily available to Natividad employees, and employees are encouraged to participate.
