The Song-Brown program aims to increase the number of students and residents receiving quality primary care education and training in areas of unmet need throughout California.
Song-Brown Family Physician Training Act Contributions
Physicians can help increase access to quality care for many of California’s underserved populations by voluntarily contributing $25 to Song-Brown when obtaining or renewing their physician license. Contributions will support a program that has been committed to serving primary care training programs throughout the state since 1973.
Song-Brown Program 50th Anniversary
Last year, the California Department of Health Care Access and Information celebrates the historic 50th anniversary of investing in California's Health Workforce Training.
