Primary Care Residency (PCR)
This grant opportunity will result in funding organizations to educate and train primary care residents to work in underserved communities.

Application Cycle: OPEN
Applications must be submitted by 3:00 p.m., August 3, 2026. Review the 2026 Primary Care Residency Program Grant Guide for program guidance and requirements.
Eligibility
Accredited primary care residency training programs (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, or Pediatrics), either traditional or Teaching Health Center (THC).
Application Dates
- Open June 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
- Early Submission Review July 20, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
- Close August 3, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
Eligible programs may apply for Existing, Expansion, THC, or New Program funding.
