Find out what’s new and exciting here at the Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) with our HCAI Update video for November 2019.
This month we have information to help Californians facing public safety power shutoffs thanks to a new resource guide from the California Health and Human Services Agency. Also, hit the road with us as we talk to the healthcare community throughout the state about the products and services available from HCAI.
We also released a new data visualization: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Surgery: Hospital Performance Ratings 2017. The visualization allows users to see quality ratings for the 126 California-licensed hospitals that performed CABG surgery during 2017.
HCAI also awarded more than $40 million to certain healthcare workforce programs in an effort to improve access to health care.
