The Skilled Nursing Facility Hero Awards program, which provided one-time $500 stipends to the first 50,000 licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) and certified nurse assistants (CNAs) working in a skilled nursing facility, has closed its application portal.
The State of California thanks the LVNs and CNAs for their work caring for the state’s most vulnerable population during the COVID-19 pandemic.
