As a stand alone,not for profit organization, EMC relies on our GPO Premier for the majority of our contracting portfolio.

Procurement staff have been provided education on supplier diversity.

Our supplier diversity statement is found on our facility website and provides information on who to contact to become an approved vendor.

How does your hospital support organizations that promote or certify minority, women, LGBT, and disabled veteran business enterprises?

We do not have a local program in place to support organizations that promote or certify diversity business enterprises. However, as a Premier member we have access to their Sourcing Education and Enrichment for Diverse and Small Suppliers (SEEDS™)program aimed at increasing the number of small, diverse and regional companies doing business with members of the Premier alliance.
