Marin Health is committed to providing equal opportunity to all qualified diverse suppliers to compete and participate in the sourcing and procurement process of our healthcare organization. MarinHealth Medical Center is committed to expanding opportunities for diverse suppliers, including women-, minority-, LGBTQ+-, and disabled veteran-owned businesses. Over the next 12 months, we will strengthen supplier diversity tracking, encourage vendors to self-identify through our Supplier Intake Form, and utilize Tier 1 and Tier 2 spend data to better measure performance and identify areas for growth. We are also exploring partnerships with organizations that support and certify diverse suppliers to broaden outreach and increase supplier participation. Through buyer education, procurement process enhancements, and a continued focus on equitable sourcing practices, MarinHealth aims to build a more inclusive supply chain that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve and supports economic opportunity for underrepresented businesses.

Over the next three to five years, we plan to formalize supplier diversity policies, strengthen partnerships with certifying and advocacy organizations, and enhance our ability to track and report diverse supplier spend through systems such as Workday and Vizient. By investing in staff education, data management, and cross-functional collaboration, MarinHealth aims to build a resilient, inclusive supply chain that supports innovation, creates economic opportunities for underrepresented businesses, and reflects the diverse communities we serve.
