4. HCAI Director Remarks
   Land Acknowledgment. Swearing-in of new Council member, Erica Holmes. HCAI updates related to the approved FY 2025-26 Governor’s Budget, Office of Health Care Affordability, and Health Payments Database that are relevant to Council’s subject-matter-expertise in health workforce.

5. Chair/Vice-Chair Transition and HCAI Workforce Program Update
   Update on process for Chair/Vice-Chair transition. Overview of Governor’s Budget implications for health workforce development. Overview of activities including awards and successful outcomes and open funding opportunities for public awareness and promotion.

6. HCAI Workforce Policy Agenda
   Overview of policy agenda and priorities over the next two years. Highlight areas where Council can engage to inform and further the strategy. The goal of this session is to receive input/feedback on areas where Council has opportunities to engage.

7. Council Impact Proposal
   Follow up on the impact model introduced at the February 2025 Council meeting. Describe HCAI’s process since the May 2025 meeting. HCAI staff will share a proposal for the Council to publish an annual policy report.

8. Supply & Demand Modeling for California’s Health Workforce
   Review of behavioral health and nursing supply and demand workforce modeling dashboards.

9. Rural Health Transformation 
   Preview of the rural health transformation plan for California including how HCAI will partner with rural providers to design programming to implement the Rural Healthcare Provider Transition Project (RHPTP) outlined in the H.R.1 bill.
