   Updates on the proposed FY 2026–2027 Governor’s Budget and its implications for workforce programs. Overview of recent activities, including award outcomes and current and upcoming funding opportunities. Preview of the 2026–2030 Workforce Education and Training Five-Year Plan, and program spotlights.

6. HCAI Workforce Programs Evaluation Update
   Post-award analysis of applicant and awardee demographics from recent workforce funding opportunities. Updates on planned evaluation activities.

7. Maternal Health Workforce Planning Project Update
   Progress summary of the collaborative project with the California Health Care Foundation, Mathematica, and HCAI. The project will develop assumptions for use in the development of a maternal health workforce supply and demand model to inform a statewide strategy for maternal health workforce development.

8. California’s Rural Health Transformation Program Update
   This session will provide a status report on the workforce development components of California’s Rural Health Transformation Program.
