14. Overview of Federal Student Loan Cap Changes
This session will highlight the anticipated impacts of recent federal student loan cap changes and the anticipated impacts on health workforce.

15. Health of Primary Care in California Annual Snapshot
HCAI will present and seek feedback on its 2026 Primary Care Snapshot. The snapshot consists of a dashboard with indicators that will be updated annually to track primary care sector performance across five domains: investment, workforce, access, quality, and equity.

16. Strengthening California’s Primary Care Team Workforce
This session will provide a summary of the February 2026 report: Strengthening California’s Primary Care Team Workforce: Data and Recommendations for Action, highlighting the current state of the primary care workforce and key policy recommendations, including those specific to HCAI. HCAI will respond to the report by Rittenhouse et al., reacting specifically to the recommendations for HCAI.
