Hospital Building Safety Board (HBSB)

The Codes and Processes Committee reviews proposed additions/changes that HCAI's Facilities Development Division (FDD) makes to the California Building Code and motions to recommend these changes to the Board. The committee also helps FDD identify and develop standard details for specific types of construction projects that are most commonly reviewed by FDD.
