The HWPP Program allows organizations to test, demonstrate, and evaluate new or expanded roles for healthcare professionals, or new healthcare delivery alternatives before changes in licensing laws are made by the Legislature.

Those awarded the Advanced Practice Healthcare Loan Repayment may receive *up to $25,000. If awarded, recipients agree to continue practicing full time, direct patient care at a qualified facility in California for up to a twenty four (24) month service obligation.
